Great photo showing both US and Japanese officers at Siapan signing of unconditional surrender. (Captioned on back as well) Photo shows head representative general signing top and bottom lines before the small procession of Japanese officers standing at attention behind him have their elected representative sign. In the background are rows of American soldiers at attention. Photo is developed on standard Japanese/Asian film at the time which runs a little more sepia in tone than German or Americam film processing of the time, making the opportunity of enlarging the photo tricky as it may become grainy. But such is history. Fortunately, it is of a good size to begin with (just shy of a post card). there is a red ink smudge on the bottom of the photo we have not tried to rmove and my of been from a reporters rubber stamp pad. Photo is otherwise bright and clean and VF.
